What’s Next?
We are now moving forward to the next phase: Target State Recommendations and Roadmap.
In this phase, we will:
- Define the Target State: Establish a clear vision for the future state of our IT environment, aligned with business objectives and best practices.
- Develop Recommendations: Identify key initiatives, process improvements, and technology solutions required to achieve the desired target state.
- Create a Roadmap: Outline a step-by-step action plan, including timelines, priorities, and resource requirements, to guide our transition from the current state to the target state.
- Engage Stakeholders: Gather input and feedback from team members and stakeholders to ensure recommendations are practical and aligned with organizational needs.
This phase will take place over the next few months and will set the foundation for successful implementation in subsequent phases.

- Continued engagement and input from all team members will be essential.
- We will be scheduling a Future State Input/Validation Summit to gather additional insights.
- Regular updates will be provided to keep everyone informed of our progress.

- We are reviewing Gartner’s Current State deliverables and will share those, along with their updated June Summit materials with you. Agency-specific documents will be shared in your secure Teams folders.
- We will be scheduling the Future State Input/Validation Summit in late August/early September
